Week ended Friday 29/08/2008: The Interbank Market experienced tightness during the week. OBB remained stable at 10.25. However, overnight rates opened at 14.75% but hiked, to close the week at 16.5%. The market witnessed a net inflow of N25,000 million through the Treasury Bills Market. OOutflow through FX this week was about N16,113.71 million as against N78,294.24 million last week. Outlook for this week: Market is expected to remain liquidity swings due to huge OMO maturity.
